Re: PCX-950s
Hi guys, I spoke to a tech at d&d about motor suggestions and they recommend that I get an ES 63-47. That put me in a at about double the torque and speeds between 21-24. They said they have a policy about carts not going over 25 mph. They have been involved in a few law suites. I’m hoping for closer to 30. Anyways he said these carts came with a different gear ratio. It’s not 12.44 it something like 14.58. That would explain how they were able to run these carts with the same stock motor and why they are slow. Anyone else ever come across this?

Re: PCX-950s
Yes, I have one of these. It is low geared & inherently slow. Another thread on here calls it out at 14.78:1. That's lower & slower than a stock cart.

Re: PCX-950s
Yea, 14.78. I found where I wrote it down. It makes sense but now picking a motor should be a bit more tricky. All the math in references to speed and torque are based on 12.44...I just want to go 30 without loosing my mind.

Re: PCX-950s
Hi guys. I got a question for you guys. My cart never came with any kink of dash so I wasn’t the person that unplugged and I’m redoing it but I’m lost. One of the harnesses has a couple of gray wires that I don’t know what they belong to. I have the manual, but I can’t seem to find them. There are 2 black ground wires, a green from the positive battery for the state of charge, a spare white/yellow and a spare white/green an da yellow for the the hour meter, but I don’t know what the gray wires hook up to. Any ideas??
