98 DS Controller

So, cart has been working great, thanks to everyone here! I am however, having an issue with the controller. Every time you want to take off, after minimal use, the controller needs a little love tap. A very light tap, with even 2 fingers, gets the cart moving again. it never fails, the tap always works (2 yrs now) I took the controller apart last year to see if I could see an issue, but nothing stands out (to my very untrained eye).
I looked at getting an upgraded one, the 600a Navitas, but I am being told they won't work on my cart as I have a GE Controller.

So...my question is, does anyone know of a controller upgrade that will work with the GE controller wiring harness? (without having to change out the whole harness)
