Here's the wiring diagram for the ignition circuit. On the right where it says "TO KILL SWITCH", that's where the wire coming out of the accelerator kill limit switch connects ("TO ENGINE KILL HOOKUP" in the color diagram).

As I understand it from looking at the diagram, the fused 16G red wire (which is directly connected to battery +) feeds the key switch. Once the key switch is turned on, it feeds electricity to the white 18G wire, which then hits the neutral lockout limit switch (backside of shifter). This switch will not let the electricity pass if the shifter is in neutral. Once the shifter is put into forward or reverse, the electricity then passes through the green 18G wire on its way to the accelerator starter limit switch. The electricity is stopped here until the accelerator pedal is pushed. Once the pedal is pushed, the electricity then travels through the orange 18G wire over to the solenoid. It activates the solenoid and power then runs from the 6G red wire, across the solenoid, to the white 6G wire, and kicks on the starter generator.

Also, the accelerator kill limit switch (also tied to physical position of the gas pedal) grounds the coil out and kills the motor when the pedal is let off completely.

The reverse buzzer limit switch is not part of any circuit that runs the cart and should have no affect on starting issues. It simply buzzes when the cart is put in reverse, even if the key is off.
that's the info I was looking for, thanks
