LOL OK, so I wasn't pushing the pedal down when I was touching those two wires together. I just went out and pushed the pedal all the way down (which is my next issue because it doesn't spring back up, it just stays pushed down and you have to pull it back up.. maybe another thread) I shot some carb cleaner in the carb, put the air hose back on and held the choke in and touched the wires with the other hand...Zoom, that thing shot about 5 feet right into the back of my G29. Luckily the rear seat foot rest took the brunt and wasn't damaged. Well, it runs and I guess there is more to work out

No damage or injuries! Any idea on the pedal before I start a new thread? Is it just the return spring hanging up? Thanks for all the help!!!!!!!!

In most cases yes... there should be a visible spring connected to the GO pedal linkage almost directly center underneath the cart!
I still don't like the look of the cable intertwined with the cam in the electrical components box,
but, I don't think that would cause the throttle to stick... that bad!

The cable is all fixed up now. Did that right before I played bumper cars in the garage!

Pedal issue fixed. I had to spray some penetrating oil from the driver's side on the not/bolt that the pedal rotates on. All good now
