2004 Precedent Starter Motor Brushes

I was replacing starter motor brushes on my cart, and just before I bought the ones on Amazon I decided to compare measurements to make sure they were the right ones. Good thing because they don't match up.

The ones on Amazon measure:
Length: 26mm / 1.024in
Width: 13.5mm / 0.531in
Height: 5.5mm / 0.217in
Lead Length: 40mm / 1.575in

The ones in my cart are 0.390" x 0.625", and they are probably about an inch long when they are new. The starter has a tag on it that says Advanced D.C. Motors, so it must be an aftermarket replacement.

Has anybody bought replacement brushes for one of these starters before?

Advanced motors makes a high output starter/generator for key start cc's. Has your cart been converted?

It hasn't been converted. It operates normally with the throttle.

I'm stilling waiting to hear back from Advanced to see if I can buy a brush kit for it.......

Google 7909 brushes see if thats what you need.

The 114-01-2034AS interchange with the #7909 I gave you. If you don't think the 7909 is correct then the # you ordered may not be right either.
