Melex slow to take off
I have a early 90'S melex It has no low end torque once it gets going it runs out fine approx 15mph the batteries and contoller came out of a working cart that drove fine the old controller in melex did nothing. Battery pack is 38.1 vdc all terms clean cables tite. Is it possiable motor brushes since cart sat for acouple of years any help would be apprciated thanks Woody

it could be that they are dirty from sitting you could get a cleaner and try that. they make electric motor cleaners that may help. I would try cleaning then look in to replacing them.
