Check batteries first! All tests (except pot output) depend upon testing with a good battery pack. Yours is a pretty simple machine. Lets get those batteries up and remove the resistor on the solenoid and tell me if it still passes current when it clicks.

where is the best/ cheapest place to by 6v batteries? Should I replace all or just the worst/ lowest spec gravity one?

Thanks, TrollHole..it was the pot box...and I went to radio shack and bought a 10k potentiometer..Took the pot box apart & Found the 2 wires broken off.

have solder back on and it works!!!

Use the diagram for the same year EZ-GO. ALL of the wiring is the same. Even the same controller.
