Engine and Electrical Cleanup
My recently acquired '85 Marathon gasser needs a good cleaning. The engine and rear diff have some accumulated grime, which I plan to attack with some degreaser. The electrical components are filthy as well and I assume a good dose of contact cleaner will do the trick. Am I on the right track and are there any components/areas I should avoid/be careful around? Any tips for the job would be appreciated.

Just make sure the contact cleaner is dry before you start your cart
