Carroll Stream 16 HP install

A friend of mine gave me his old cart it is a 2003 800 LX workhorse, I pulled the engine and decided to put the 16 HP in.

I lifted it 6" and added some 10 " rims with 22" tires.
Purchased a 780 comet clutch
purchased a carroll stream engine 16 HP with electric start
Will start fabbing up the engine mounts tomorrow.

Will I have trouble finding a belt that is longer than the standard belt??

The pulley is 15" from pulley to pulley center.

Where can I find this type of belt? Napa, Autozone or Oreilleys?????? And what would it be used on if they have to look it up?

Have you looked at the sponsor/vendors pages here BGW?
I saw a bunch of different length belts for the ezgo carts on one of the sites. You might find what you are looking for there.

I can't help on the belt but I have a Carroll Stream in my CC & have over 40 hrs on it.Not one problem with it.

It looks like it has electric start and all the wiring is already hooked up - similar to predator 420 13hp. Can you clarify on what you need help on regarding the wiring? Are you wanting to bypass the stock electric start key switch and if so what type of cart is this being installed in?

I would like to use my original golf cart switch,im putting it on a 1992 club car ds,also not running factory generator thanl you very much for your help

I looked for a Carroll Stream 16 HP or Predator 420 wiring diagram and could not find one. As an alternative, you could document how your Carroll Stream 16 HP is wired with pics and paper diagram and do the same on the Club car starter, ignition coil as well as at the ignition switch and then make a mapping of old to new. They do make Club Car gen/starter pulleys for clones and I think yours is the 780 clutch setup, I am sure others can chime in on suggestions for this.
