Re: Vent options for engine heat?
Best thing to do is let the heat out. Install an HVAC air return vent in the engine cover panel behind the seat. Or remove the engine cover panel.

I’m just attempting to block the radiant heat transfer after extended driving through the seat bottom. Edit: to say, besides, I didn’t think they made hVAC vents that small? |

Re: Vent options for engine heat?
I found some return vents 4"x10". Plenty of registers that size but they all have the flaps in them to close them off. Extra parts to rattle or block flow.
I ended up not using it. Since I have a cargo bed no need for an enclosure over the hole. I cut three 2" diameter holes in the cover with a hole saw. The computer fan isn't in yet but it will be when I take vacation in a week. Just venting isn't enough with the 625. It needs cool air forced into the engine bay. IMHO. There are enough gaps around the seat edge to let heat slip out around the armrests if the hot air isn't pushed to the rear with a fan. I will be rerouting the air filter near the fan too. If one fan to the left of the shifter isn't enough I will add another to the right also. We use our cart for long rides in the warm months. The temps have been in the 90's since mid May and look to continue that through Labor Day. Twenty mile rides sitting over that big one lunger gets your backside toasty. |

Re: Vent options for engine heat?
Put one of these on each side of the seat box. And one these on one side

I also use ours during warmer months (Houston, TX warm) so I figured anything I did to help the heat to stop radiating up to our butts was a good thing. |
