88 marathon strange voltage readings
Thanks to all who helped me through the engine rebuild last year. Cart has been running great until last week when battery died. Followed test procedures for the generator and regulator. Now to the strange part as it starts to increase rpm voltage goes up about 13.4 then the multi meter goes blank .
I tried to ground green wire from generator and same thing it flashes 13.4 voltage meter goes blank So is cart charging or not ? Was going to try an analog meter next time , any help or suggestions appreciated. Thanks Albert |

Re: 88 marathon strange voltage readings
Thought about it some more and I think the windings in the starter / generator may be opening up in the higher revs has anyone else experienced that.
Second d anyone have a good used starter for sale. |
