EZGO Gas S4 2012 hesitation when pushing down gas pedal issue
I have one more I hope to get some advice on.
2012 EZGO S4 GAS This cart has very little use over 7 years, only been used a handful of times prior to me purchasing it. Its basically brand new. Has been sitting under a cover for most of its life. Wear shouldn't be an issue on this cart. Sitting unused most of its 7 year life may be a different story. Here is my issue. Doesn't matter if the cart is cold or warm, this happens every time I use it. From a stop when you push on the gas pedal there is a hesitation, I have to push the gas pedal down pretty far to get it going and then there is a surge that is a bit unsettling. Once running it runs like a top, don't think its a carb issue. Is this normal for these carts? I really don't want to mess with the governor or make adjustments to the carb that are out of factory spec. Do you think there is something that is out of adjustment like the accelerator cable or in need of replacement? It sure would be nice to have smoother acceleration from a stop. Thanks in advance for your advice, Mark |
