Default EZGO Marathon Week Spark?

I have an EZGO marathon and have recently cleaned the carb and replaced spark plug wires and plugs. It runs but not real good. I have to warm it up in neutral with choke on before even thinking about driving it around. Pretty sure it’s not fuel or carburetor related and when I’ve pulled the plugs and tested spark one seems to get better spark than the other and have swapped plugs with the same result. Is it possible the ignition coil is slowly going bad? What’s the best way to test without spending money on a new coil?
