Default Anyone near Northeast PA?

I have an 87 EZGO and new to the cart seen. I had the engine rebuilt and completed the install. But no start. I am thinking its the drive clutch, no engaging the crank. I shot a video, but it won't load on here. Im near Scranton PA, and could use some guidance if anyone is close.

Are you saying that the starter spins the drive clutch, but it's spinning on the crankshaft?

If so, There's a center bolt that holds the clutch on. Tighten it.

The bolt won't tighten anymore, it appears stripped on the crank. It only engages the shaft every few rotations and never gets enough mustard to really fire the engine.

The shaft is tapered. The clutch is a pressed fit.

Is the pulley on the starter aligned with the pulley on the drive clutch?

If the starter belt isn't straight, the clutch isn't on far enough.

If the starter belt is perfectly aligned, then something is worn out. Either the clutch, or the crankshaft.

Is there a thick washer under the head of the center bolt?

Section K of this manual explains drive clutch installation.
