cart goes swimming

my wife's cart took a swim in the lake with the help of my 8 year old.
it was an accident.......
but completely submerged.

we wd 40'd all connections immediately.

cart drove perfect for two weeks.she put it on charge, and hasn't hit a lick since

it's an aa01 model.

i used test light and have power to ignition swith, power from gas pedal to (limit switches)the (black box under passgr seat)

i can disconnect the two pronged switch and insert test light and i get a clicking from rear of cart.

i i can touch the forward and reverse and get fire from both sides.

i jumped the solenoid and get zilch.
i also have fire to all three fuses in the fuse block.

i need help.

btw please don't let the name offend you(mad)
it's the three initials of my business mend-a-dent

all help will be appreciated

How long did you let it sit after recovering the submarine? The WD40 was good, but if you didn't let it sit and completely dry, you probably made the mistake right there. You might be like me.... Very Impatient.

2001 48v is a little easier to read than the manufacture code yes, thank you.
What does this mean?

You sprayed it with wd40 and drove it for 2 weeks before recharging it?
She plugged it in and it never hit a lick? Is that golf or baseball? Did the charger click as it always does when it acknowledges the pack? What is the pack voltage now?
We are to assume it will not charge? Is that right? and what posts did you jump on the solenoid?

yes, drove it for two weeks every other day or so, before charging it.

"never hit a lick" southern term for it ain't working,lol

yes charger clicked.

no charger is charging.

cart is not running.

viewing the forum on a seperate thread it was suggested to jump solenoid to see if cart would move.

so i jumped the solenoid and get nothing.

So you jumpered the 2 Large posts on the solenoid and with the key on & cart in gear, the cart would not drive? What is the total pack voltage now?

yes, and pedal pushed.

i'm new to this,how do test pack voltage?

You will need a digital voltmeter. Home depot sells them ? test at the charger plug and again on the batteries where the charger leads connect. If no reading at the charger port the receptacle or leads is the problem... the charger needs a minimum voltage to turn on this is why we ask for the pack reading...... post your results

Your cart has a computer and a solid state controller. Neither of these things are expected to survive being submerged while powered up ....
