batteries
how do i hook up 3 12v batteries in stead of 6 6v batteries to test my cart any help would be great thanks

Here is the series test schematic you can do it with 12v if the cart is on jacks, which we suggest... you do not need 36v to test. Three 6v (18 volts) as shown. Also do NOT let the motor run WOT or it will grenade with no load.
P.S. This is prolly a waste of effort as these motors almost NEVER EVER go bad .... have fun! You are welcome PG and Mike ..... Thanks for the group effort! Guys |

Scotty, I think he has 3 12v batteries and none 6v and he wants to put the 12's just for testing the whole vehicle trough controller?
I think I saw that diagram somewhere at some motor company...jus sayin :p |

THen he can run 3 12s like PG said in series ..... But we all now that is not what the 12 volt batteries or the golf cart was intended for ???
