Precedent battery ground to frame?
2006 Club Car Precedent. When attempting to install voltage converter, I found that I had voltage between battery and frame. Subsequently, I found that I have a reading on multimeter when checking between frame and battery case. There is moisture present on top of battery. It is in the moist areas that voltage appears. Why? Could this indicate battery problem? Other problems? Best way to make sure frame isn't grounded? Newbie to forum. Thanks for help. Tom

Re: Precedent battery ground to frame?
Neutralize the battery tops with baking soda and water. Rinse and dry with a leaf blower.... Voltage should disappear on battery tops , sides, & frame . overfull cells and or over charging can result in excessive boiling or spillage.... check water levels are above the lead and below the fill neck
