Default Question about on board charger function

Hi, brand new here with a question about my 2006 CC obc. This past fall I noticed my batteries were getting weak (I bought the cart brand new). I also noticed my charger was no longer doing the reset, ie, the needle going from rest to the right, then back to zero and then back to the right to start the charge. In other words, the computer was not gathering any data, simply starting a charge.

I took it to the dealer who said the batteries were shot as was the ocb. They were both replaced under warranty (the Trojans were replaced by US batteries). I've played a couple rounds and the same thing with the reset is happening. When I plug the charger to the cart, the needle goes to the right and stays there to begin the charge. My four batteries all have good volt readings after the charge so they are charging. I'm just wondering if that diagnostic check is all that important. Can the batteries be harmed by the charger not doing the reset thing. And before I take it back to the dealer, what might be causing this?

I think it does the system check during the charge or maybe he put some kind of newer updated OBC in your car.I dont know for sure I have 4 2006 clubs and I think they act that way.

Thanks for that information. I did not know CC might have updated the OBC. I'll have to look into that.
