what year is my CC cart (no ser.number??)

Hello,
I am trying to repair my friends cart. There is no serial number on the dash. Is it stamped somewhere else? I am believing it is a 76 to 88, but not sure. It is 36V, has the V-Glide, and has a micarta board for mounting 5 resistors. Looking at the newer wiring diagram I thought it was a post 88 but that diagram only shows 3 resistors. Where can I find a diagram of my cart with 5 resistors? Kim

Remove the dash part where the key switch is mounted, there could be a serial number tag there as well. I know there was one on my 2000 CC.

Thanks, I'll look there. I was told it is a 1999 and it could be, all I know I need a 2nd speed resistor, and I need to know the year as they are different. Did the 88 and above have 5 resistors? Kim

Welcome to BGW kimpaige. Sounds like a Caroche' ... Might the coils setup look like this? ...... and does the cart have 2 brake pedals?

Nope, It has 5 resistors/coils mounted on a board with standoffs. Kim

If you can snap a pic or two ... someone in here can tell you exactly where the serial # plate location of the can be identified easier

That is a resistor coil cart ...... they were made from 1989 until 2004....

OK that is wired like my 2000 cart, you have five resistors in which the v-glide sends signal through, with the last wire going to the motor off the board.
