ok , now you have 2 options left to you:
option 1, replace OBC. Retain Stock charging parameters. Expensive, and always a concern that the new OBC will fail as well. (can you tell I hate the OBC?) option 2, leave the OBC in place. Bypass the solenoid lockout circuit (run that jumper permanently from the solenoid to the ground), install an automatic timer board in your charger and a short jumper wire from the cherger recpticle to the 48 volt ground on the battery pack (this assumes you have the larger 48volt charger that actually has room inside to install this timer board). Less expensive route, no chance of another failed OBC, downside is, your charger is married to your car and can't be used on other 48 volt club cars unless they alse have the jumper between the recpt and ground. |
