96 CC 48V series no move...

So I'll take it that that's a no... and I should remove all wires before trying to apply 48v to the small terminals to trigger the solenoid..?

No need to unhook wiring while jumpering for tests on that old a model but you wouldnt want to do that on IQ 2000 plus models.

Yep the solenoid triggers so the solenoid is good..
I'll start testing the signal path this evening if I get a chance...

Do I just see that the signal has voltage to the main ground along the path and try and find where it stops?
or do I chenk for continuity between the signal path and the pos terminal on the battery?

if your jumping the soleniod and its working but not working when you press the pedal its bad chances arev you need to replace it.................

measure the high side of the solenoid, make sure its roughly 48.

if the high side aint getting its voltage your activation circuit has lost its voltage.

one thing you can do is directly wire +48V onto the high side of the solenoid to power up the activation circuit. it happened to me and that fixed it :)

my problem was caused by grounding a PLC to the common on the cart circuit which dropped it out. search my posts and you'll find an attachment in here that might help you identify the different circuits and also what wires do what.

Hehe I guess I may be saying som confusing things here...

1. If I jump the 2 LARGE posts on the solenoid it works...
2. If I trigger the solenoid via the small terminals (48 v) it activates the solenoid and works...
I'm guessing that the post with the wiring diagram on page one of this post has my answer..
Whatever tells the solenoid to "trigger 48v" to the solenoid is not working..
the microswitches are working so it must be elsewhere.

have you measured the signals going in/coming out of the OBC?

what type of controller are u using? 16 pin or 23 pin?
