Re: loss of power
welcome, if they are brand new your gonna have to break them in because new batteries are not 100% you,ll need to do 12 or more complete charge/discharge cycles before they come up and until than it might be a dog but once broke in you,ll notice the difference.....once you put the charger on let it go till it shuts off otherwise you may end up with a set of batteries that never give full preformance.....................

Re: loss of power
We charged the cart- drove it- charged and drove for 6 weeks now and NOT improving at all
So I would think we have done as you have suggested by cycling the batteries more then enough |

Re: loss of power
What was reason for going with new batterys? Did you purchase golf cart batterys at least mid amp hour range? There is all kinds of batterys, qualitys and so many owners cut themselves short by price buying? Example 8 volt Trojan batterys T-860 is 150 amp hour rated, T-875 is 170 amp hour, T-890 is 190 amp hour.
Have you restricted pack load to no more discharge than 75% between charges, let CC power drive charger run until shut down after each use, have you checked pack 50.96 volts and individual 8 volt batterys for voltage 8.49 volts and compared to STICKIES "State Of Charge Readings" |
