Default restoration/ upgrade 1980 C.C.

Hey guys, I am a newbie who just came across 1980 Club car 36V, and willing to spend some $$$ to get this thing FAST!! I have been reading in the forum about 36 to 48 volt upgrades, and switching from resistor to controllers, and switching motors too? Wondering what would be the best way to go?

If your 36 volt motor is in good condition I would use it as it handles 48 volts and will give you great speed and power.
Look under search above for conversions as there is lots of posts about changing CC carts. Several sponsors ( SCOTTYB and other site sponsors ) can make you up a kits for your specific needs that make the switch easy.
