Default EzGo marathon clicking noise?

My marathon has been making a clicking noise while it is running for a long, long time now. I just ignored it as it has been running just fine. I'm just wondering what this might be and if it's a an easy fix? This is a gas marathon. Thanks

Mine had a loud clinking when you got up to speed and drove me insane. finally I narrowed down to the fan. so I took the fan shroud off and there was a freaking bracket just laying in there. took it out and no noise. but the motor still isnt as quite as id like it to be.

My 92 was making a chatter the was driving me crazy. I jacked the cart up and ran it without the seat. I thought it was the cluch. It turned out to be the carb linkage was loose. EZ fix.. worth a shot. Repair was free!

Check the condition of the starter belt. Seen chunks missing out of them causing a click type sound. Also if the valves are adjusted too loose, it will make a clicking noise. Just thought i'd put my 2 cents in...
