Default What motor

I have :
2001 Ezgo Series Cart
48v Conversion 6 8v"s
New Trojan 8v Ranger 160's
Scotties #485 package
SPM 48500 Controller
Heavy Duty Solenoid
2G Cable Set
Heavy Duty F&R Switch
Stock rims and tires.

Looking for a motor that will give a little more torque than speed .

Thanks
Rick

what is your end goal as far as how fast you want your cart to go? I know you said a little more torque is what you want....but the two are related. how fast is your cart with its current motor? is it the stock motor?

that's right on the money. although I'm still running 36V, I have the same setup as you.....except I have a High Speed motor. and I have a top speed of 27 mph.....and a 25 mile range.
