Powerwise versus DPI charger ?
I have Powerwise charger (think from around 2003) and a DPI charger. Each came with a 36V cart I have now (I evidently have a problem purchasing golf carts and could not stop at one). Both carts will be at the same location so I could use one charger for both. I have new 6v Trojans in my 2003 PDS cart and new 6v NAPA batteries in my 1999 DCS cart.
Is there a big difference in using one over the other ? On the DPI charger, MODE 2 is marked for Trojan batteries but this works for NAPA as well, correct ? thanks ! |

The mode setting for Trojan will work just fine for NAPA...
I don't know how EZGO carts are set up as for charger control. And depending on model DPI chargers can be no better than any other dumb charger. But an DPI Accusence charger is designed to keep your batteries float charged all the time where as other charger turn off. Float charging will extend the life of your batteries... |
