Something that did worry me as we'll was when I went to charge for the first time. The charger wasn't even plugged in to the wall and a large spark happened as soon as I touched the charging port to the cart. It actually burned off a small spot on the metal ends of the charging port. :(

This cart is looks to be in good (solid) condition and it would suit your needs well. With a solid state conversion you could boost performance with a voltage increase and a motor rewind.

if the frame is solid-i would say call scotty b and pull the trigger-you wont be sorry!

The frame looks to be good. The battery trays are rusted but it looks to be surface rust.
