Re: Golf Cart and Harley on Single Axle Trailer Doable??
Also installed a weigh safe adjustable ball mount hitch. It has a tongue weight scale built inside the ball mount.

Re: Golf Cart and Harley on Single Axle Trailer Doable??
I set the trailer up for hauling the Harley. I purchased a Wheel Dock MC chalk. A little pricey but if you have a heavy motorcycle it's worth it. It uses a piston that controls the chalk so you don't have to pull hard to remove your bike from the wheel chalk. It simply rolls flat going in and out. My neighbors has one and told me about it. It's crazy good!

Re: Golf Cart and Harley on Single Axle Trailer Doable??
One thing I should mention. If your considering using the Erikson E Trak tie down system like I did on an unlifted cart, you will need to make a modification. The handle on the ratchet strap interfered with my carts body around the rear wheel in the release position. You should not have this problem if your using it on the front wheels. I took the straps to a boat shop that makes sails for large boats. They shortened the strap where the buckle attaches. By doing this the handle is now closer to the attachment point on the E Trak and has sufficient clearance to clear the cart body. I used a sail shop because I knew they would be able to sew the strap using high strength nylon thread that is UV resistant. If you have a lifted cart there would be no issue.

Re: Golf Cart and Harley on Single Axle Trailer Doable??
Started phase 2 of setting up the trailer for both the Harley and the golf cart. It's a tight fit but will work. I plan to use the same wheel chocks, just different locations. Weight on the trailer tongue was right at 500 Lbs. which is about 12% of the total weight of trailer and cargo. Pretty happy with that. Thanks to those that encouraged me to go with the dual axle trailer. Definitely a wise decision. Putting both of these heavy guys side by side needs a dual axle not to mention all the other reasons!
