I added an 8th battery to the bagwell area on my TXT. Pretty simple job. Used two new 36in 2ga cables from ScottyB. I put the battery in a plastic battery box and bolted it down. Had to cut down the lid to allow it to fit under my rear flip seat.
Performance is great. Just wondering how long my stock motor will last. Hopefully not long so I can justify a new B2😛

Haa ha ! Congrats, you will never go back

Years ago I had a customer who was mad because his 36v motor was completing the 3rd summer since his upgrade..... he wanted a new motor too. Lol

I have a 6 month old 42V DPI charger for sale if you want to just tuck a 7th battery under the drivers seat

All depends on the condition of the motor you start with, but as long as you watch the temp on the factory PDS motor, it should last a while. I believe its a class H motor.

You may also want to check fleabay to see how much a used one is going for. Might be enough to justify the purchase of the B2 now.

No thanks I’m going to straight to 48.
That stock motor will take a pretty good beating. Let us know how long it lasts!

Good info. The sale of my stock motor and 42V charger might be almost enough to get a B2 from ScottyB
