Reverse faster then forward and buzzer on.
Thanks in-advance for any help. So it's a 2007 ezgo st sport. Converted to 48v, has alltrax controller, 400a seloniod, 2g cablesalso has an EMP MOTOR. My kids were driving it when it started acting up. It now acts like forward is reverse and vise versa. The controller isn't flashing any codes. Not sure where to start???

Re: Reverse faster then forward and buzzer on.
I would look at the wire going to the reverse connection on the Alltrax.
When that wire is supplied 48v, it tells the controller to reduce the power, typically by 50%. Not sure how wires could have been swapped, but it sounds like the reverse wire to the Alltrax is tied to the forward circuit. |

Re: Reverse faster then forward and buzzer on.
I will definitely try to check that. Nobody changed any wire so could this be a controller issue? If so, how would I check that? Thanks for the help.

Re: Reverse faster then forward and buzzer on.
First, we need to know which drive system. Series drive or sepex drive?
F/R switching is external to a series controller and internal to a sepex controller. What model number Alltrax controller would also help. |

Re: Reverse faster then forward and buzzer on.
Based on the title I'm guessing SEPEX cart, FnR switch by your keyswitch and a Run/Tow switch by the controller that has either a failed FnR switch or the adapter harness had a diode fail. We will wait for the op's response for further comments

Well I guess I was waaayyyy off
External rotary HD FnR switch or reversing contactor ? How old are the kids ? Wondering if they are pulling a prank and reversed the wires on the motor |

Re: Reverse faster then forward and buzzer on.
11&13 and although possible not probable. Lol they don't know enough about the cart if that was the case it likely wouldn't run at all. I was thinking that the FnR may have gone bad or something like that. I sent Scotty B an email to ask that very question. He replied he'd never heard of that happening. Guess that doesn't mean it's not possible. I did switch the wires on the motor and it made zero difference.
