Unhook the negative battery cable. Unhook the positives battery cable. Now hook both big cables on that left solenoid to the same side. Reverse what you did unhooking the battery cables. Now the cart will have torque back. This means you left solenoid is not working like it should could be the solenoid or the activation. Oh, btw unhook the speed sensor or it will through you forward when you let off the pedal. You can drive the cart this way and it will not hurt anything.

It plugs in to your motor via a 3 wire connector.

I did what you said. Now I have nothing. When I turn the key on, the passenger side solenoid clicks, no power...

One the differences between Regen 1 and Regen 2 is the number of cables on the Dynamic Brake Solenoid.

You should have 4 cables on that Solenoid.

You need to make sure the two white cables, one from the Motor A2 and the one from the Controller A2 terminal are bolted to the same Solenoid big post.

Don't forget to unplug the speed Sensor.

Also - on Regen 1 or 2 - if the driver side solenoid has failed (and completely lack power), the coiled wire resistor attached to that solenoid will be almost red hot - far,far too hat to touch. But you can hover your hand over it after you've stopped. If it feel like you are hovering over a toaster - that solenoid is "toast".
