I guess it would be good to get new post/terminals also.

The new Motor posts are part of the brushes as they are attached (in most models).

What is the full model number of that motor?

That's the old GE "Beast" motor. It's since been replaced by the AMD 7114, which is considered the "new Beast" motor. Very good torque and decent speed.

Can be had from Golf Cart King, delivered for $505 IIRC.

Well, with hindsight being 20-20, I should have just bought a new motor. Bought the DS with me to MO and had a local shop lined up to put in new brush/post. When brush arrived, terminals were not include, had to get them from another shop, which also 'turned' it. Ended up over $400!

This sucker has a boat load of torque. Climbing is only limited by tire traction. Got to get better brakes for going back DOWN the hills .... lol.

Well that sucks that could've got a new motor for a little more $ but I'm glad you got yours taken care of and it worked as you needed.

Had my annual last week (He's been my primary since my Freshmen year of FB) and he told me he cannot guarantee me anything in the future, but he did guarantee me that I was not going to die before I got out his office....
