1990 CC DS Headlights
Have an older model CC DS with aftermarket headlights. Has anyone found a suitable LED replacement for the halogen bulbs? Are they as bright? These halogens are not bright at all.

I used 889 leds off eBay for $8.99 a pair. Not sure if yours are the same

Re: 1990 CC DS Headlights
What size bulb do you have? The main thing is to match the bulb size and get the highest lumen output possible. Stay away from anything over 6k as the are blue and are terrible for light output. The lower you go in color temp, usually the brighter they are. 2600k is yellow.

Re: 1990 CC DS Headlights
It's an H3 as shown in the pic. I've found what looks like replacements on Amazon but all of them have varying feedback. Plus none show the length of the bulb, which according to my measurement can't be longer than 1 1/2". Just wondering if anyone had already done this, was happy with the results, and could recommend the brand.

Re: 1990 CC DS Headlights
I’d give eBay a try, get the highest lumen/least inexpensive bulbs and go from there. I have friends that love the blue lights. I have eye issues and prefer the yellow look that is similar to an incadesant

Re: 1990 CC DS Headlights
I have the same lights in several of mine. I use these for H3 https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...=1875700969001 as they are just basically Fog Lights that were turned into headlights.
Yes, they fit and work very well..... |

Re: 1990 CC DS Headlights
Thanks, Nole, but I couldn't get the link to work. eBay says it's most likely older than 90 days.
