Just looked at the Alltrax toolkit and the field map loaded is EZPDS-DCS-V1 is that correct .Ok after switching the foward and reverse switch it started to go .Drove around yard a few times .Parked it then tried to go in reverse and no go you can here the click and the motor barely turns, let off the pedal and switch to foward and it takes off again .

It is the default map for the stock motor.
Are you seeing a blink code from the LED status light when you try to go? Any combination of red/green blinks?

Those older Alltrax controllers (NPX, etc) IMO aren't very reliable, and don't seem repairable when they blow...

That being said, there is often a manual that has a list of the error codes. You're getting an error code of some sort, hence red lights.

Should flash a few times green to indicate the throttle type, then go steady green, and amber/orange when WOT. Red indicates fault. If it's a fault for low battery a DVM won't help you. Get a load tester, put car in TOW, check each battery one by one, and see if one drops well below 5-4V with the load switch on. You might have one bad battery, and checking the entire pack with a multimeter won't tell you much.

The error codes off the older Alltrax controllers (DCX, AXE, NPX, NCX) were a series of Red flashes and the OP is getting Green & Red flash error codes indicating the current generation of Alltrax controllers. The thread header indicates a PDS cart, so the controller in question is a XCT.

One Green followed by two Red, is a Battery Under Voltage error.

That means the Under Voltage slider is set too high, or the battery voltage being sensed by the controller is too low.

If the Under Voltage slider is set to 28V or so as it ought to be for a 36V battery pack, than the battery voltage being sensed is too low.

The question is where and when the battery voltage is sensed by the controller.

Battery voltage is applied to the controller in three places.
J1 Pin-5 via a wire from the battery side larger terminal on the solenoid, so it has B+ on it 100% of the time the Run/Tow switch is in Run.
J1 Pin-4 via the reed switch, so it has B+ on it when a charger isn't connected and Run/Tow is in Run.
B+ terminal on controller has B+ on it when solenoid contacts are closed and less than B+ when the are open.

I'd check those three points with DVM while the solenoid is activating. The solenoid coil draws about 3-5 amps to close the contacts and only about 1A to keep them closed. So excessive resistance in the wires can spike the voltage below the under voltage set point.

Tested voltage on J1plug pin 5 has 39.19v
pin 4 has 39.18v.B+ with pedal down 29 v.

Just got off the phone with a Tech from Alltrax and he had me check the voltage from controller B- B+ when pedal is pressed down and the voltage drops .This test confirmed that the solenoid is bad
