has anyone installed long travel rear suspension on a electric ez go
Hey guys I'm new to the cart world and I've been working on my 97 ez go electric cart for about two months now so far I've stretched the frame into a limo cart installed a long travel kit in the front but I'm looking for a long travel rear kit .I talked to a dealer about a rear kit but he told me that the shocks can't handle the the weight of the batteries .has anyone have ideas for me I'm also running air shocks in the rear so I think these shocks can handle the weight . but is there clearance problems with the motor or any other components please advise

There has been talk about it, but no one has done it as I know. Yes the battery weight is going to be a problem, try putting something together, and post pics. Good Luck

My initial thought was put half the batteries in a swing arm cradle but i doubt they would survive the rigid ride the way a gas engine does?
