I understand, but that battery #1 should have never been used like you have it now.
The only reason the cart is working is because you are back-feeding 40v to the key switch circuit through a tiny little diode in the existing brake relay harness. Remove/disconnect that wire. Test the voltage on the Green wire at the key switch. If You don't have voltage there, make sure the Tow/Run switch is on Run and that the 15 amp fuse in the fuse holder near the controller is not blown. |

Which pigtail wire are you talking about disconnecting to test if this is the case? I attached a few pictures. Having this same problem and haven;t been able to figure it out even after reading all the previous posts about the problem.
