Default Intermenttet power

2014 Club Car electric
Very Unusual
Last week after sitting a few hours after an initial trip the cart jerked once while in forward...my thought was some sort of transmission problem.
The following week after no other driving i turned cart on and pushed reverse button.....nothing....switched to forward and back to reverse and beep beep back out perfectly. Put in forward started off fine after a minute slow speed (like a speed sensor issue) then the unusual.....stopped (like brakes engaged) pressed gas again and went at a little slower speed then stopped again if i got over 5 mph the stopping occurred. i went about 250 yrds and decided to head back or i might have to push it home... well i had to push it it would only go 1-2 mph anything over would stop and every time it stopped the forward speed would be slower than the previous. It finally didn't have enough power to move at all but the stopping would continue if i had the gas down even if i wasn't moving forward Any ideas?

I'm no expert but I would say the speed sensor needs to be replaced. I had very similar situation with mine last year. It would run for a few seconds then cut out. Would not start again until at a complete stop, then would go for another minute or so and do the same thing. I replaced the speed sensor and that fixed it.

Speed sensor failure only puts the cart in limp mode (50% power), it cannot prevent it from moving.

It sounds more like a Solenoid failure if you are experiencing both limp mode and no movement.

The controller goes to sleep if the cart is not driven for 72 hours and the charger is not plugged to the cart, that could explain that "delayed" reaction you experienced with the reverse buzzer not working right away.
