Produces about 2.5 times as much hp as the original motor.
Good 8 hp torque motor with same speed as the original, like 23 mph on stock tires with any Alltrax XCT controller.
Hope this helps

It is good, an FSIP A-3 is a little faster. Plum Quick can upgrade your motor for $295 and give you quite a bit more over stock or you can opt up to a Plum Quick Executioner and go WIDE open!

I would love to go Plum Quick Executioner

but the wife likes the regen braking... but would like more speed and about 1/2 of the braking . the local shop says they can tune some of it out . thinking of trying #4 retune .

been on scotty's site and think I may get the FSIP like the more torque as we have some mild hills and we hate it when slows down to a crawl.

will be going with a motor and Alltrax XCT controller from scottyb :) but have to buy one at a time
So what would you do first ???
just put new t875 battery's in w/ 2g cables

Alltrax XCT controller 400 or 500 ??? with the FSIP A-3 is it worth the extra $$$ for the 500 with this set up??
motor FSIP A-3
solenoid 200a ?

Thanks again for the help

With the Alltrax controller we offer the ML3 key lock 3 mode switch, we can program a wife mode with regen and a Dad mode without.

All good selections, the 500 includes the fan and is well worth it to me. You would want a 400a solenoid with it. Also upgrade your cables to 2 awg.

And the Executioner does retain some of the regen braking, it is just a lot less as Robbie (Plum Quick) knows if you are running down a steep hill and the regen brake engages your motor is probably toast because it can rip the coms right off the armature.

With a Sepex cart, I would absolutely do the 500a controller first, then it can be mapped for your stock motor and you can still play with the custom tuning via the Alltrax Tool Kit. When the time comes to upgrade the motor, you just email Alltrax the one you purchase and you will be sent the correct map with instructions on how to install it with your laptop PC. Mine is an Executioner with the "ExecutionerV2" map and I like the amount of regen I have.

I would suggest going for the horsepower first. The only way to get that is a new high speed motor.
