1996 Club car DS,
had new controller put on due to speed issues. Now will go right into reverse without pressing accelerator but won't go forward with or without pressing accelerator. Changed micro switch on the POT, still same issue. Any ideas on the cause?

Re: 1996 Club car DS,
Sounds like its hooked up wrong, check your wiring against the diagrams in the sticky section

Re: 1996 Club car DS,
As fixer said, check the wiring. What controller did you have and what did you replace it with?

Re: 1996 Club car DS,
Could it be the on/off key switch? I am pulling up the wiring diagram and checking that out. The reason I replaced the forward reverse switch is that the big blue wire connect to the rear of that switch melted that connection so a wiring issue does make sense to me.
