CC for parts, A8103 transaxle & motor?
So I've run across an old 1981 CC. Pretty much everything except for the frame and motor is rotted. I'm wondering if I could use the transaxle in place of the one on my 1992 CC DS gas, that I am converting to 48 Volt lithium?
Also, I screwed up and did not get the full serial#. Wondering if the motor is a 48 Volt? Thinking I can use it for a core. Thanks for any help!!! |

The frame is aluminum, the body is fiberglass, what's rotted? That cart was originally 36 volt.

Re: CC for parts, A8103 transaxle & motor?
The frame is cracked, badly in multiple places. The components near the batteries are all about twice the size they should be from rust/corrosion. The body is cracked and rotting in multiple places. Poor cart obviously had a very rough life.
So if the cart is a 36volt, would I be able to use the rear end for a 48 volt? My current rear end was a gas rear end and is about a 6:1 gear ratio. I am wanting more torque rather than speed. |

The old style transaxles don't hold up well to extra power from what I've heard.
Check in parts wanted here or ask some of the forum venders about a used transaxle from a newer cart that will be able to handle the extra power. |

I've got 5 Graziano 10 Spline rear assemblies complete with brakes sitting in my shop. They came out of 2013 Precedents. Direct fit for the DS car.

Ah, nice Tahoe! What's the gear ratio on those? Maybe we can work something out when I order the motor and controller from you.
