Re: batteries
Keep a close eye on those US Batteries. They are notorious for spewing acid all over the place when installed in a Club Car with an OBC. The US Battery uses a totally different charge algorithm than the Trojan or Crown and the OBC doesn't charge them the same way. I've changed MANY battery racks in DS cars due to US Battery acid spillage. There is an OBC available with a US Battery algorithm if you want to replace the OBC.

Thanks for the heads up. Actually I did t realize I was getting US batteries. I thought the guy priced me a brute force(. Seen a guy on here stating he has good luck). Then when wife got home I noticed they were US. Besides the acid spillage are they good batteries and is that a good price? Do you carry the OBC for us batteries Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: batteries
Just go lithium. Get two if you can afford it and call it a day.

Re: batteries
Yes, on my second set. Got 5 years from the first. The big change I made, and would make on any batteries, is to remove the quick-caps and put in singles. The quick caps leak unless you tighten each by hand... which defeats the purpose.

Re: batteries
Recently had an obc replaced on a 2000 club car that has US batteries. Would rather verify myself that the obc is compatible with the batteries than ask installer. Should be because they sell only US but.... Is there a model or serial # that would indicate this?
