Installing lights on '07 Precedent. Need voltage reducer?

That voltage reducer is designed to install where shown on the diagram posted by Gazoo but with a vertical orientation. The mounting holes are already there.

Thanks for the acknowledgement Gazoo but I should acknowledge that I originally took it from someone else (probably Crash Test Dummy).
