Club Car High Speed Motor not Working
I own a club car that has the high speed motor and normally runs about 31 MPH. Yesterday while driving it sound like something came off and now there is a hissing sound when driving and the cart will only go 16 MPH. Any idea what may have happened or how to fix?

Did you run over some sticks?
Could be something hung in the brake cables causing brakes to be somewhat engaged. Where does this hiss come from? |

You may have a motor brush busted.

Re: Club Car High Speed Motor not Working
I thought it may be the high speed sensor, I removed it and the magnet. The magnet was broken into several pieces. I have replaced both and now the noise is gone but it is still not going any faster. Any other ideas?

if not and You have an Alltrax controller You can just change the pole count setting using their software. |

Re: Club Car High Speed Motor not Working
How do I know what the difference is in the regular magnet that comes with the speed sensor versus the high speed magnet? The speed sensor came with a magnet.
