Which battery
My Club Car DS is in need of new batteries. Are the Trojan Ranger 160 worth the extra cost compared to the Trojan T-875.
Are there any better options? |

Re: Which battery
My DS will need batteries before next spring and the 2 Trojan batteries you listed are my short list. It mainly comes down to how and where you use your cart. The additional reserve capacity of the 160's is appealing but it comes at a cost both in dollars & weight. I haven't compared the cost yet but if it's not ridiculous I would go for the 160's. There are many members on this forum using both the 875's & 160's with good results.

Re: Which battery
not unless you need the extra 35% run time/distance
i picked up t-875s last spring for $115 each, $700 out the door for 6 if them looks like ranger 160 is 3 times that or more, $396 each at walmart most cart shops buy the t-875s by the pallet loads and keep them in stock |
