Golf Cart Heater?
Is there a good and reliable propane golf cart heater? I like the ones that fit in the cup holders , but the reviews are all over the board it seems.....Thanks

I've got one of the cup holder ones. I've been happy with it.

Re: Golf Cart Heater?
Just my opinion but pretty much no golf cart heaters work all that well if it's cold. Without a golf cart enclosure you might as well hold a Bic lighter to get warm. Nothing is going to do it. If you have an enclosure and it's not too cold out then a propane will help but certainly not get you warm. Even the best enclosures allow more breeze to enter than people realize. I know a couple of guys who run two of those propane ones but that scares me too. Two propane ones use up double oxygen.

Re: Golf Cart Heater?
Lol! Just made me remember a doozie..... My Dad and Mom had (emphasis on "had") an enclosure on their old DS and one day my ailing Mom wanted to go for a ride. I took my space heater and set it on the bench seat and zipped up the enclosure real tight. Of course, that particular day they had breakfast and then finally got out to go for the ride, only to find what used to be an enclosure all melted, including a warped windshield and burnt steering wheel.
Just goes to show you why my Dad never would let me play with matches... |

Be careful using those lp gas heaters, in a inclosed cart! You could die for lact of oxygen!

Re: Golf Cart Heater?
I have a Colman golf cart heater. I use it for hunting. Propane of course. I've had this heater for 8 or 9 years and it still works like a champ.

Re: Golf Cart Heater?
I would be surprised if you could have that problem in a golf cart, the covers don't fit that tight, plus being outside moving. Now if you were setting a building in the cart with that setup, maybe.

Re: Golf Cart Heater?
Just thinking out loud, how about using a 12volt electric blanket? Or would it draw too many amps?
