Default Axle flip 03 DS

What would it take to do an axle flip on my cart? Do I need to purchase anything? Weld brackets?

Been there > Done that.
Cut the spring purchases off and re-weld them on top or better buy new spring purchases and weld on top

Thanks Scotty. Do you sell the perches? I don’t know if I want to go that route or just get the heavy duty springs.

This is how you do it. new Ubolts , shock and spring mounts, and lift blocks

You can measure and google the net for those spring purchases they are common and cheap. Lots of extra work cutting the old ones off but, I was determined to make it an afternoon job.

I just need a bit of lift in the back, I might check out the auto part store and see if they carry anything that will work. The easiest way is probably to just get the Hd springs

I have some blocks that'll work. They sit nice and snug over the axle tube and sit on the old spring perch. They'll position the spring just above the axle tube as low as you can get them without hitting the tube with the spring centering pin. I'll have to look and see if I have the spring retaining plates and the U-Bolts though. I'm not in my shop again until Jan 3 if you can wait that long.

I can wait. Is pretty cold up here. How does the block sit? I’m used to lifting trucks not golf carts :)
