Default 2 Questions

1A ... I will be headed back home from MO in a few days, towing the DS on open trailer at 70-75 mph. While here I installed the fold down windshield. Can the windshield handle that speed without any problem?
1B .... Would it be better if folded down or leave it up?

2 .... This beast has plenty of torque for the Ozark hill. As long as it has traction at the wheels, it will climb. Going DOWN the hill is another thing. Are the brakes adjustable? Seems the right rear is only one grabbing.

As far as the windshield, I'd take it off. I've seen them break, and also no windshield, less wind resistance.

Yes your brakes are adjustable. The real question is if the cart is lifted and if the cables for the brakes are stretched because of said lift. Solutions for both those scenarios, including adjusting the drum itself or fixing the cable set up.

I carried my cart home when I bought it on the back of a ute (pick-up). It travelled 720 km (450 miles) at 110-120 km/h (70-75 mph) with no problem except being splattered with bugs. The dealer prepped it for the trip and told me that his carts travel like that all the time.

The windshield was folded and zip-tied closed. When I roped it down I had a rope across the seat so the seat couldn't move. Otherwise there was nothing special and the roof was able to handle that without a problem.

People in our golfing group also tow carts on trailers to other golf courses at those speeds without a problem.

Yes the brakes are adjustable just like any auto drum brake.

If you don't take the windshield off. Put something across the windshield where it folds to support it. The wind will flex the windshield and sometimes it will break and sometimes not.
