Default not getting fuel

On my G14 I've changed the line from fuel pump to carb{that's all I had on hand}. I do plan to change the line from the tank{along with filter} to pump. I also pulled my fuel pump, took it apart cleaned and checked all gaskets, everything seems fine.

Even though I have not changed all lines they still seem okay. I can get the cart to start by blowing into the gas tank{build up pressure}. It will run for a short time then die out. I watched the new line that I installed{pump to carb} it is clear. It would get air in it which in turn kills the engine. I'm hoping it will be the filter and other line. My question is; Is there something else I should be looking for and checking?

There is another small line going toward the back of the block that actually blows air into the pump to help pump fuel to the carb. Make sure it is not split. Also, the fuel filters on these are in the bottom of the tank and can get stopped up easily. I usually cut them out from the cap and install an in line filter.

Air bubbles in the line from the pump means it is sucking air. Either a bad spot in the upper part of the fuel pick up tube in the top of the tank, a crack in the line or filter from the tank to pump or the diaphram in the pump has a pin hole in it.
Follow spriddles advice first and check the pulse line. Any gas in it?

Thanks for the heads up, I'm hoping to be able to work on it some today. I bought the new gas line and in line filter so I'll start with that.

Well I changed over the fuel lines and filter, still didn't work. Further investigation showed a crack in the plastic fuel nozel comming out of the tank. I patched that last night and checked for leaks, none found. I'll try to put it back together and see what happens. I'll probably still change the hose comming from the crank case, how hard a job is that?

Got it back together ran good, I'm still going to replace the crank case line. That way all lines will be new, better to be safe then sorry.
