![]() A friends gas 91 EZGO freedom has to rev up pretty high before drive clutch engages the belt. Both clutches operate smoothly when tested with back wheels jacked up. I have a 93 gas that engages much more quickly with less reving of the engine. The 91 belt is new in 2007. When I swap the belts there is no difference in either carts operation. Any suggestions?

![]() You could have a '200rpm' type clutch in the ezgo. I have one in my carryall which basically lets the motor get up some speed before engaging the clutch for easier starts on hills etc....

![]() could be in need of a cleaning, some are bad about sticking if they've set for awhile but will at times work right.
