i put a 420 preditor in my g2 it quit on me and when i pulled the carb the bowl had a lot of trash in it i had to make a air cleaner for it and i used that whight stick epoxy on it when i took it off i could see it was coming apart could this have gotten in the bowl? i checked the fuel filter and it is clean. i guess what im asking is, is it possible to get trash in the bowl through the intake:

Re: trash in carb
Should post a -if of the trash you saw in there.
Also how old is the fuel in there, sometimes people add fresh fuel to old fuel thinking it’ll be ok and sometimes it’s not |

Re: trash in carb
Old fuel lines also deteriorate and can trash a carb pretty quick.

Re: trash in carb
I have used those cheap little plastic 1/4" fuel filters and they have had trash in them from the factory, plugged up my carb over and over and couldn't figure it out. Here the carb was plugged up from the new filters that I continually put on trying to fix the plugged carb lol. Lesson: don't use those cheap azz little plastic filters, use one designed for race bikes/cars that cost more money. Chinese cheap junk really sucks.

Re: trash in carb
Agree with Slonomo I use automotive filters I bought some cheap ones online once for a jet ski and they wouldn’t even flow at all
